Findings
Claims status, the provider identity upgrade and the underwriting rules refresh are on track, with every milestone done or forecast on time.
Agent commission statements will finish one sprint late. Switching off paper statements moves into Q4 sprint 1, after a late start in sprint 2.
The payroll reporting API has slipped each milestone. Integration with large employers' payroll systems has taken longer than its design review assumed. "Ten employers live" is now forecast for Q4 sprint 2.
The two late projects both depend on teams that were busy with incidents in August and September.
Actions
Project Manager, payroll reporting API: re-plan the last milestone with the Product Owner, and bring the Q4 effect to Quarterly Planning as a dependency.
Program Manager: reserve Q4 sprint 1 and 2 capacity for the two milestones that move into Q4, before new projects start.
Project Managers: update forecasts again at the sprint 6 reviews on Sep 25.
